Leadership Team

Four specialists.
One shared conviction.

Tapas.one is led by a CEO, CTO, CIO/COO, and CMO spanning clinical AI, nano-material science, enterprise cloud infrastructure, and surgical medicine. They share one conviction: the most important healthcare revolution is not a new device — it is making health monitoring invisible, continuous, and personal.

Eangelica Aton is the co-founder and CEO of Tapas.one, where she leads the vision for AI-native health intelligence. Her work sits at the intersection of clinical medicine, artificial intelligence, and the emerging science of continuous biosensing.

Eangelica's core conviction is that the most important healthcare revolution is not happening in hospitals — it is happening at the interface between AI and human biology. She believes that health should be continuous, predictive, and deeply personal, not episodic and reactive.

At Tapas.one, she designed the AI Health Engine — the intelligence layer that transforms multimodal biosignal data into personalized health insights. She also pioneered the Personal Health Twin concept: a living digital model of your unique biology that learns and adapts over time.

Key contributions

Designed AI systems that transform raw biosignals into actionable clinical insights
Pioneered the Personal Health Twin concept — a living digital model of individual biology
Built the Tapas.one AI Health Engine from first principles, integrating multimodal sensing data
Advocates for continuous, invisible healthcare infrastructure as the future of medicine
Combines deep clinical knowledge with AI engineering to bridge the gap between data and health

"The future of healthcare is not a smarter hospital — it is an invisible infrastructure that understands your biology better than any doctor can, because it has been watching continuously for years."

Nano-Material Science · Biosensing

Pau Sabater is the co-founder and CTO of Tapas.one, and the inventor of the nano-cream biosensing formulation that sits at the heart of the platform. His work represents a fundamental departure from conventional wearable sensing — replacing rigid hardware with a skin-native, nano-engineered medium.

Pau's invention opens a door that nobody else has walked through: the ability to sense the body continuously, intimately, and without hardware constraints. The nano-cream formulation integrates with the skin's natural biology, capturing multimodal biosignals — glucose, cortisol, hydration, cardiac rhythm — simultaneously and passively.

The core IP he has developed forms the defensible foundation of Tapas.one's platform. Combined with a passive RF telemetry architecture for battery-free data transmission, Pau has created a sensing layer that is genuinely novel — and genuinely patentable.

Key contributions

Invented the nano-cream biosensing formulation — a patentable skin-native sensing medium
Developed a multi-modal sensing approach capturing glucose, cortisol, hydration, and cardiac signals
Designed the passive RF telemetry architecture enabling battery-free, continuous data transmission
Created a sensing medium that works with the body's natural biology rather than against it
Holds the core IP that forms the defensible foundation of the Tapas.one platform

"What if the most sophisticated health sensor you will ever wear feels like nothing at all? That is the question I have been trying to answer — and the nano-cream is the beginning of that answer."

Michael Tedescucci is CIO/COO of Tapas.one, bringing deep expertise in public and private cloud deployments to the HealthOS infrastructure layer. With a career spanning enterprise AI infrastructure, multi-cloud architecture, and SaaS platform engineering, Mike ensures that the Tapas.one platform operates at the reliability, security, and scale that clinical-grade health data demands.

His hands-on engineering background — spanning Google Cloud, AWS, DevSecOps, and SRE — means he does not just oversee operations; he architects them. From bootstrapping professional services organisations to transforming on-premises platforms into cloud-native infrastructure, Mike has a proven track record of turning technical complexity into measurable business outcomes.

At Tapas.one, Mike is responsible for aligning the HealthOS technology roadmap with operational execution — ensuring that as the platform scales from pilot to production, the infrastructure beneath it is secure, resilient, and built to last.

Key achievements

Provided infrastructure guidance across AI-focused enterprise projects on Google Cloud and AWS
Architected a multi-cloud solution for a SaaS InsurTech platform, leading DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, and Contact Center teams
Transformed an on-premises SaaS platform to Google Cloud, boosting utilisation by over 350% in 6 months
Drove the establishment of a professional services organisation focused on public cloud, generating multi-million dollar revenue within 18 months
Spearheaded secure cloud solution design across public and private environments, consistently exceeding industry standards

"Building infrastructure for AI-native health platforms is not just an engineering challenge — it is a responsibility. Every architectural decision we make at Tapas.one is made with the understanding that the data flowing through this system is someone's health."

— Michael Tedescucci

Medical & Surgical Relations · EMEA

Dr. Dorottya Turu is Chief Medical Officer of Tapas.one and the lead for medical and surgical relations across the MedConnect.Team clinic network in Europe and EMEA. A specialist general surgeon trained at the University of Pécs and Semmelweis University in Hungary, she brings over 12 years of hands-on clinical experience spanning Hungary, Ireland, and Italy.

Her clinical focus lies in proctology, colorectal surgery, and pelvic floor disorders — areas where continuous, non-invasive biosensing has the greatest potential to transform post-procedure monitoring and patient outcomes. At Tapas.one, Dr. Turu translates this clinical depth into actionable partnerships: identifying the elective care pathways where the nano-cream biosensor delivers the most immediate clinical value, and building the trust frameworks that allow MedConnect clinics across Türkiye, Italy, and the wider Mediterranean to adopt the technology with confidence.

As the bridge between the Tapas.one HealthOS platform and the surgical community, Dr. Turu ensures that every product decision is grounded in real clinical workflows — from post-rhinoplasty recovery monitoring to aesthetics and dermatology procedures. Her network across European surgical societies and EMEA healthcare systems positions Tapas.one at the forefront of the next generation of connected, elective care.

Clinical credentials
